Warehouse Manager

Rails, a global contemporary lifestyle and apparel company, is seeking a Warehouse Manager for its headquarters in Vernon, CA. This individual will be responsible for leading the Rails Warehouse Team and managing operational efficiency, reporting in to the VP of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring workflow and ensuring safe use of warehouse equipment
• Improve warehouse practices and protocols to achieve maximum efficiency
• Set team goals in collaboration with executive management and leaders
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve output
• Maintain constant communication with other departments within Rails to ensure all product is shipped correctly and in a timely manner
• Audit and report inventory and other key metrics
• Ensure compliance in all areas including international shipping, workplace safety, and payroll
• Understand EDI process and support Shipping Team as necessary
• Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor recreation spaces
• Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors as needed
• Additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse management
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must
• Full time availability to be in office, this is not a hybrid role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in overall data management via ERP systems, MS Office, and/or similar platforms; Shopify knowledge a plus
• Ability to take full ownership of assigned tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable in a very fast-paced environment
