Account Executives - East and West Coast

RAILS is looking to grow its Domestic Sales Team. The company is recruiting for Wholesale Account Executives on the East Coast and West Coast.

Candidates must have wholesale sales experience within the contemporary fashion market, and existing relationships with relevant retailers and buyers. They must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be targets oriented, think strategically, and actively execute sales initiatives. We expect candidates to be outgoing, motivated, and engaged in continual direct sales activities to grow the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present four seasonal collections per year via trade shows, showroom appointments, road trips, and email and phone outreach. This role will require travel.
• Account management of existing accounts and territories, including seasonal sales, in season reorders, selling reports, and sales figures analysis
• Set, monitor, and achieve seasonal and yearly growth targets, requiring analysis of individual accounts and full territory sales figures, and other key metrics
• Proactive outreach to new target accounts
• Merchandise and confidently present the collection within a showroom and tradeshow environment
• Seasonal sales calendar planning alongside Sales, Design, Product Development, and Production Teams
• Additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Must have an understanding of the contemporary fashion market, and competitive landscape, from both a product and public relations / marketing perspective
• Existing relationships with contemporary buyers and retailers;
• Ability to analyze sales figures and data into actionable insights
• Must have full working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to efficiently prioritize a demanding workload and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
• Collaborative by nature; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners, both internally and externally
